The Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA) reminds residents and small businesses that they can send legal questions related to the COVID-19 pandemic to email@example.com.
The email will be promptly reviewed by a NCBA staff member and directed to a NCBA member attorney who has volunteered to assist residents through a consultation. Residents will receive a response within two business days.
Residents may also visit the NCBA COVID-19 resource web page at www.nassaubar.org for additional resources and helpful information.
The consulting attorney is available on a consultation basis only, which means that the attorney is not able to represent inquirers in court or in any legal proceedings. Rather, the attorney will provide information and initial guidance to inquirers.
Although the NCBA Mortgage Foreclosure Clinics are postponed, if anyone has a mortgage foreclosure issue, contact the NCBA with questions by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 516-747-4070 ext. 1231 and someone will contact the resident within 48 hours with an answer or to set up a virtual appointment, if needed.
