Arrest Made In Uniondale Burglary

The First Squad reports the arrest of two Hempstead men for Burglary that occurred on Monday, August 4 at 6:40 p.m. in Uniondale.

According to detectives, First Precinct officers responded to a call for a burglary on Fenimore Avenue. Upon their arrival, police say they discovered Shukur Carrion, 20, hiding in a second floor crawl space. Carrion refused to obey the officer’s orders, according to police, and began flailing his arms, refusing to allow them to place him under arrest.

Marlon R. Castellanos, 19, was discovered hiding in a vehicle outside the home, according to police. He was placed under arrest without incident.

Castellanos is charged with Burglary 2nd degree and Carrion is charged with Burglary 2nd degree and Resisting Arrest.
