Arbor Day Family Festival At Planting Fields April 27-28

Celebrate Arbor Day at the Arbor Day Family Festival on April 27 and 28, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is cohosted by Planting Fields Foundation and New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.

The festival will feature caricaturists, live music with Johnny Herbert, Peat Moss & the Fertilizers, tree seedling giveaways, the Long Island Railway Association, beautiful garden tours, a children’s tree climb by Wonderland Tree Care, tree plantings, stunning watercolor demonstrations and more. There will also be free admission to Coe Hall, Smokey Bear and more for children and families to enjoy.

Parking is $20 per vehicle but is free for Planting Fields Foundation Members or current Empire Pass holders.

Planting Fields Arboretum is located at 1395 Planting Fields Rd., Oyster Bay.
