Cathy Bongiorno also earned 3rd place in the Infographic category for her 100-year timeline of St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope school in Westbury.

On the editorial side, Steve Mosco won 2nd place in the Food and Beverage category for his LIW article “The Burger Files” in which he sorted local burger joints into the best, the worst and the rest.

Kimberly Dijkstra earned 2nd place for her Travel piece “Traversing Vermont.” She also won 1st place for Best Website Home Page Design, along with web developer Jim Sabellico, for longislandweekly.com.

Elizabeth Johnson, Steve Mosco and Andrea Bilton jointly won 2nd place for their Breaking News story about a prominent Manhasset couple who died tragically in a plane crash.

Finally, following significant wins at both the New York Press Association’s Better Newspaper Contest and Fair Media Council’s FOLIO awards, Port Washington News Magazine won 3rd place at PCLI. The acclaimed magazine is helmed by Senior Editor Jennifer Fauci and Creative Director Alex Nuñez, with contributions from the entire Anton staff.
