Located in the heart of the Hamptons, Matriark’s flagship Sag Harbor retail location has long been a mecca of expertly curated fashion, accessories and decorative objects.

The items are not only bespoke, they are empowering. All the products are designed and crafted women-owned brands. Its latest partnership with jewelry company Filienna is an elevated trifecta of beautiful, bold and altruistic. 

For Matriark founder Patricia Assui Reed, Filienna was a natural fit for the boutique. The brand’s appeal transcends its elegant aesthetic with a powerful message of balance, positivity, and self-love.

Filienna and Matriark align aesthetically in terms of their feminine, bohemian, chic and individualistic styles, but the collaboration goes much further beyond the surface. The partners support women with a message of inclusivity and empowerment.

“Filienna doesn’t just sell femininity, positivity, and creative self-expression,” Reed said. “These are values that the brand promotes from within, with women leaders overseeing every division of the business, from design and production to promotion and operations.”

Henna design inspires Filienna jewelry collections. Henna is an ancient art of body adornment practiced by women for centuries. The brand set out to capture the ornate and delicate essence of henna design, crafted in blush silver filigree to last far beyond a traditional henna tattoo. 

Blush silver is a special alloy or blend of metals that include precious silver, copper and other metals. The effect is that of rose gold, a universally flattering hue that brings feminine warmth to any wearer. The benefit of this metal is that, with proper care, blush silver retains its rosy hue but costs a fraction less than real rose gold. Filienna jewelry is versatile.
