Body of Woman Found in Woods in Medford

Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman found in a wooded-area in Medford on June 12.

Police responded to a call at Camden Court at approximately 6:15 p.m. on June 12. The 911 caller, who was part of a group consisting of 40-45 people searching for a local missing woman, found the body in a thickly-wooded area.

The medical examiner will conduct an examination to determine the identity of the victim and the cause of her death.

Detectives are continuing their investigation and anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or to provide any information about this case anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
