2 Men Robbed At Gunpoint In Elmont

Two 20-year-old men were robbed at gunpoint in Elmont on May 16.

Police say at 5:55 p.m. the men were stopped and talking on Makoske Avenue when they were approached by an unknown 20-year-old black man, who said he had a gun and demanded the victims’ cell phones.  The victims complied and the subject fled the scene on foot northbound Makoske Avenue.  There were no reported injuries.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-8477.  All callers will remain anonymous.
