musichalloffame_110416This year not only marks the 60th anniversary of Westbury Music Fair (currently operating as the NYCB Theatre at Westbury), but the storied venue will get its further due when it gets inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame.

This historic 1,800-seat venue remains relevant, as it stills hosts roughly 120 shows annually across a broad spectrum of music and entertainment. This year’s ceremony will find Westbury Music Fair being inducted alongside Grammy Award-winning record producer/composer Jim Steinman, guitarist/composer Steve Vai, music executive Charles Koppelman, singer/songwriter Garland Jeffreys, Academy Award-nominated film composer Carter Burwell, hip-hop artist Big Daddy Kane, jazz bandleader Vince Giordano and songwriters/instrumentalists Santo & Johnny.
