Registration is open for the 2nd Annual Athletic Alumni Golf Outing, which will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Willow Creek Golf & Country Club. Entry is open to all alumni, parents, friends, students and supporters of Farmingdale State Athletics in an effort to raise money for our athletic and alumni programs.
This year’s honoree is Mike Ryan, president of The LandTek Group, who has been a tremendous supporter and fan of the school’s athletics program for years. Ryan has more than 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and has become a leader in professional, college and high school athletic field and golf course construction. His company specializes in natural and synthetic field design and construction.
Over the years, the LandTek Group has built state-of-the-art facilities for the New York Mets, the New York Yankees, the New York Jets and Giants, and the New York Red Bulls, as well as Columbia University, Stony Brook University, Dowling College, Hofstra University, Farmingdale State and numerous other universities, colleges, school districts and municipalities throughout the northeast.
